The steps of a scrap gold sale at our showroom in Pitești.
You can sell scrap gold at the Ervam Gold showroom in Pitești, at Strada Victoriei no. 13, ground floor. The gold is tested and weighed in front of you. The price is calculated from the gold price on the day. Below you will find the steps, the documents you need and a few tips.
What we buy
old gold jewellery: rings, chains, bracelets, earrings, pendants;
broken or incomplete pieces, such as a single earring or a broken chain;
manufacturing remnants and workshop gold from jewellery businesses.
We work with individuals as well as companies and professional jewellers.
How the sale works
Get in touch. Message us on WhatsApp at +40 785 469 955. Tell us what pieces you have and, if you know, their karat and approximate weight. You can send photos too. Please let us know before you visit.
Visit the showroom. We are open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:30. Please bring an ID document.
Testing. We check the marks and measure the gold’s fineness with an XRF analyser, which does not damage the pieces. When needed, we confirm the result with a touchstone and acid.
Weighing. We weigh the pieces on a legally verified scale, in front of you. The weight of any stones is deducted.
The offer. You receive an offer showing the karat, weight, price per gram and the rate applied. You are free to accept it or not.
Payment and paperwork. If you accept, you receive the purchase document and payment, in cash or by bank transfer.
How the price is calculated
The price starts from the pure gold price on the day, multiplied by the piece’s fineness. For 14K gold, that is 0.585. The indicative rates are:
individual: spot minus 5%;
company: spot minus 3%.

Before you come
An ID document is required. The law requires the seller of precious metals to be identified.
Cash payments are limited by law. Larger amounts are paid by bank transfer.
The buyer must be authorised. You have the right to see the company name and its authorisation. Our details are on the Company Details page.
The gold price changes during the day. If you compare offers, compare them on the same day.
